Hey Guys,
I'm testing MS SQL 2017 with Rhell, and it looks like CS requires the MDTC service? Do you know what the reason for this is? I'd really like to utilize MS SQL with Rhell, where Distributed Transactions are supported, but without the MDTC service. Unfortunately upon install/start Cloudshell requires a MDTC check? is there a reason for this? can we update this option for use with MS SQL 2017 with linux?

This is currently not supported. You can add you vote and the use case to this idea (even though it’s marked as ‘not planned’):

Hey Matt,
MSDTC is used to ensure data integrity across the CloudShell databases.
Currently, there is no way to install CloudShell on top of a database that doesn't support MSDTC.
If this is something you would like to pursue further I would recommend posting it in the Quali Idea Box as well as bringing it up with your Quali Account Manager for discussion.

Yaron, I assumed thats why we have the check in place, just did know if we were already looking at the "disable" check feature... which we are ^_^
Thanks Guys!
