Natti Katz suggested an idea (#5226) · Sep 15, 2020 at 02:26 PM · cloudshelll1
Hello, this is a customer request.
Their use case is to run some operations over the routes during teardown process, but as it is disconnected by the server, they opt for a workaround of MapPorts by api directly against the L1 device. (can't use connect routes method either in teardown)
Currently the server disconnnects L1 routes. The OOTB teardown disconnect is only for L2 routes.
An option to disable this functionality by the server PER blueprint is desired. The current key is system wide and not the best option. But also there is a problem with that key in that it only works for manually ended sandboxes. The customer is using job scheduling.
I see some prime real estate on the blueprint properties page just under save sandbox section for a such a flag.
Thanks,
Natti

DUT in above scenario is a Broadband hub/homerouter .As mentioned by Nati, after test suite execution Cloudshell server disconnects all L1 routes which makes DUT not reachable to its Manager/ACS (tr69).
We need to do some configurations revert before we leave the setup to orchestration setup in next playlist from a scheduled job.Because of DUT losing its management network connectivity (due to server disconnect) connecting it again to network taking 4-5 minutes(including BOOTSTRAP procedure from ACS) in teardown.

To add onto Selva's comment. This teardown is on many blueprints, so that 4-5 minutes of teardown time accumulates a lot of time over all the suites.
