Natti Katz suggested an idea (#5150) · Jun 26, 2020 at 03:23 PM · configuration managementapps
Currently the config is a one time operation that is defined on the app and restricted to the deploy phase. Perhaps a manual tester wants to later run another script on the app, but does not want to redeploy. Or maybe the automation wants to download and run multiple scripts in a sequence. The commands are already there, just refactor them to be public and available at any time.

Having the ability to do CM directly on the resource is a great extension for the App.

I have created an alternative solution here, using a 2G service component leveraging the same python package. currently just implemented for Ansible, but Custom script solution will be implemented soon as well.
