Natti Katz suggested an idea (#5008) · Feb 13, 2020 at 02:58 PM · sandboxtestshell
Hi guys,
Basically the Testshell API is missing the SetSandboxData method that is available in the Python automation api.
This can be useful to link custom data between different tests of a job.
I am currently implementing a custom mailing solution that aggregrates data from different tests in sandbox data and sends a unified email report on teardown.
To overcome the gap of the missing method, I created a service in the sandbox that calls the method for me and I trigger that with ExecuteCommand (but this creates implementation overhead).
Thanks,
Natti

Hi Natti
Thank you for the suggestion
New API methods are not automatically added to our API libraries, specifically C# library, therefore this idea is not planned.
Regarding the email usage you mention, this sounds like a cool feature
Have you suggested an idea for it?
If not, please consider doing so
Cheers
Muli
