Dan Amzulescu suggested an idea (#4292) · Jan 18, 2019 at 10:52 PM · portalsandbox
A configuration Key that would disable the error popping on screen.
Error would still appear in the activity log.

Hi Dan,
thanks for posting this. Are we talking about all errors/warnings in a sandbox? Why would you want to hide the notification that something went wrong?
can you please explain the motivation for having this feature>?

Hi,
Discussed with Dan M. who talked last week with Dan A.
Sounds like the requirements is for setting verbosity level, in order to avoid noticeable error messages in demo use cases.
Dan A., please let me know if that is not accurate. Moving the idea to active state, and we will follow its popularity.

This is accurate.
I have no problem with the details appearing in the Activity Feed.
Are we talking about all errors/warnings in a sandbox? - Yes
Why would you want to hide the notification that something went wrong?
- This is for Demo purposes - The details are still in the activity feed and I will see the status of the SB as Active(Error) notifying me there is an error.
But having a big red error with a stack trace as details is something that a customer would probably like to avoid as part of Sales demo (I know I would... :).
