Joe Beaulieu suggested an idea (#3801) · Jul 10, 2018 at 02:52 PM · sandboxcustomizationcloudshell 9.2
We would like to see the ability to set the default sandbox view - Diagram vs List View - via a preference in the Portal for a per-user configuration, or by way of an attribute to set this preference per group/domain in Resource Manager. The majority of our users don't utilize the Diagram view for much, if anything, so to be able to set the List View as their default would be beneficial to our organization.

Hi, thank you for posting this idea.
I would like to better understand why you are not using the diagram view and find the list view more comfortable. This is not a common usage of CloudShell and therefore adding capabilities around the list view is not currently in our roadmap. Better understanding your use case and pains with the diagram view will allow us to address those issues and improve the user experience.

I could see a scenario where you're just spinning out a bunch of apps - they are all have shared connectivity to a single vlan, so showing that connection is just "noise". A list view that was sortable would be of more value to a user from the GUI - Which apps are deployed on remote vs in-house. Looking for a Windows 7 deployment, etc.

in 9.2 release, we plan to add the ability to set the default view to be diagram/list view. For now, this configuration will be global, for all blueprints
