George Rainovic suggested an idea (#3397) · Mar 01, 2018 at 10:08 PM · scriptpackageadminupdate
Currently, version.txt works for shells, but not for scripts. Admin has to use web/portal interface to update version of the script.
Version updated in web interface is not visible in source control system.

I use PyCharm plugin to upload the scripts to the Quali server. It packs version.txt in the zip file, but the server does not update info about the script from the version.txt file.

Thank you for the idea @grainovic! This makes sense and something we would like to add to the product moving forward.
