vCenter cloud provider: Enable saving VM memory in Save Snapshot command

I would like to have the ability to enable saving VM memory when invoking the Save Snapshot command in a sandbox / reservation. This would allow for restoring to a snapshot in a particular memory state, an important feature when analyzing viruses and malware within VMs.

Hi,

We can add support for dumping the memory state to the snapshot. This can be done by exposing a flag as input on the command, so the user can indicate if a memory dump is also needed. This significantly slows the snapshot creation process.

Not sure how popular this request will be among our customers, lets see how many votes this idea gets

I would like to learn more about the use case, why is the state needed in the snapshot
