In version 6.3 there is a new option to select the default test report file type.
The default is a pdf file (as before).
There are 2 options to get the different report types:
1. Add the following line to the portal configuration file (customer.config)
<add key="DefaultReportFormat" value="pdf"/>
The value can be one of the following: pdf, html, csv
You'll need to restart the portal (run the configuration wizard of the portal) to apply the changes.
2. Whenever you open a report, you can add another parameter to the url to set the format.
The url will look like this:
http://server/Test/Report?reportId=9a412191-064a-46c8-b726-a20aebee6def&format=html
again, the values could be pdf, html and csv.
This option is also good when you generate and send the report url by mail, so you can control the type of report the users will get or allow them to get multiple formats by providing different links.
